​Women Learn the Art of Staying Fit on Women’s Day


The morning began with fitness activities, health awareness and interaction with experts

Women enthusiastically participated at the Model Town unit and availed free health check-ups and consultations

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a special health and wellness program for women was organized on Sunday morning at the Model Town unit of Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital. A large number of women participated in the event with great enthusiasm. During the program, doctors and experts encouraged women to stay aware of their health, undergo regular health check-ups, and adopt a balanced lifestyle.

A discussion was held on the theme “Women’s Health First.” As part of the program, a Zumba fitness session was organized in which women from different age groups actively participated and pledged to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The objective of the event was to inspire women to take time out for their health despite their busy daily schedules.

During the expert session, specialists from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital shared valuable insights on several important aspects of women’s health. Dr. Sonal Bathla, Director and HOD, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, said, “Women often remain so busy managing family and professional responsibilities that they tend to neglect their own health. It is important for women to undergo regular check-ups and not ignore any health concerns.”

Dr. Jyoti Chugh, Director and Unit Head-II, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, said, “A balanced diet, regular exercise and mental well-being are essential for good health among women. When women remain healthy and aware about their health, the entire family benefits.”

On the same occasion, Dr. Shalini Singh, Senior Consultant, and Dr. Shalu Jain, Senior Consultant, also shared important information related to women’s health and emphasized the importance of regular health screenings. During the interactive question-and-answer session, women raised queries related to their health, which were addressed by the experts in a simple and informative manner.

As part of the program, free medical check-ups and gynaecological consultations were also provided for women, which were widely appreciated by the participants.
