India marked a significant milestone in its maritime green-tech transition as Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal flagged off the country’s first all-electric tug project, signalling a shift towards cleaner, sustainable port operations.The initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions, lower operating costs and boost India’s standing in eco-friendly maritime innovation.
