In the recent years, doctors have noticed a substantial increase in male infertility cases. Historically, the average sperm count has dropped significantly from approximately 113 million/ml in 1940, to 66 million/ml in 1990. Studies show that from the year 2000 onwards there is an average global decline in sperm count of approximately 2.64% per year. Indian Shipyard Commences Construction of Key Assets for Coast Guard

In a significant milestone towards strengthening India’s maritime security capabilities, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) marked the Keel Laying and Plate Cutting ceremony for two Fast Patrol Vessels (FPVs) and the Girder Laying for two Air Cushion Vehicles (ACVs) at Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL).   The contract for design and construction of 14 FPVs with an indigenous content of 60% was inked on January 24, 2024. Strong Q2 for NMDC: Revenue Hits ₹6,261 Crore, PAT Up 33%

India’s largest iron ore producer, NMDC Limited, has reported a strong performance for the second quarter of FY 2025-26, driven by record production and buoyant demand from the steel sector. The state-owned mining major produced 10.21 million tonnes of iron ore during Q2 FY26, a 23% increase over 8.29 million tonnes in the same quarter last year.
