India’s largest iron ore producer, NMDC Limited, has reported a strong performance for the second quarter of FY 2025-26, driven by record production and buoyant demand from the steel sector. The state-owned mining major produced 10.21 million tonnes of iron ore during Q2 FY26, a 23% increase over 8.29 million tonnes in the same quarter last year. Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), in a significant move to streamline and expedite the Medical Examination process for DGCA Licence holders, has approved the empanelment of 10 new Aeromedical Evaluation Centres across the country.
