The procedure was carried out by a multidisciplinary team of nephrologists, urologists, transplant surgeons, and support staff, with full compliance to ethical and legal protocols under the Transplantation of Human Organs Act. This milestone is expected to pave the way for more such transplants in the future, offering renewed hope to patients with end-stage kidney disease.
