Indian Navy Inducts 25T Bollard Pull Tug ‘YUVAN’ (Yard 338)

On 26 March 2025, the Indian Navy inducted ‘YUVAN’ (Yard 338), the fourth 25T Bollard Pull Tug, further strengthening its maritime operational capabilities. Built under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, the tug is designed to assist naval vessels in berthing, towing, and maneuvering operations within ports and harbors.

The induction of YUVAN’ highlights the Navy’s commitment to enhancing its fleet support infrastructure with modern and efficient assets. These tugs are crucial for improving logistical support, ensuring smooth port operations, and bolstering the Navy’s self-reliance in maritime capabilities.
