The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur on 18 April 2024 for collaborative research and training. On this MoU, Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services, Lieutenant General Daljit Singh and Acting Director of IIT Kanpur, Professor S. Ganesh signed. Defense Research and Development Organization successfully flight tested indigenously developed cruise missile from the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur off the coast of Odisha today, April 18, 2024. All sub-systems of the missile performed as expected during the test. The Integrated Test Range-ITR had deployed multiple range sensors such as radar, Electro Optical Tracking System (EOTS) and telemetry at various locations to monitor the performance of the missile.
