The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, has successfully facilitated the movement of 189.260 metric tonnes of Over Dimensional Cargo (ODC) for the upcoming semiconductor assembly facility in Assam.   The cargo was transported from Diamond Harbour, West Bengal, to Pandu in Guwahati through the Indo-Bangladesh Protocol Route (IBPR) and National Waterway-2 (Brahmaputra) aboard the IWAI vessel MV Chitrangada.
