Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the 594-km access-controlled greenfield Ganga Expressway in Hardoi, marking a major boost to road infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh.   The six-lane expressway, expandable to eight lanes, connects Meerut in western UP to Prayagraj in the east, significantly reducing travel time between the two cities to around six hours.
