Ayushman Bharat insurance scheme expanded to cover elderly above 70 years old

The central government has made a big announcement for senior citizens on Wednesday. The government said that now senior citizens above 70 years of age will be given insurance cover under ‘Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana’. About 4.5 crore families will be covered under the scheme Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that about 4.5 crore families will be covered under this scheme.
