MoD signs contract worth Rs 8073 crore with ALH

The Ministry of Defense has entered into an agreement with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bengaluru on March 13, 2024 for the acquisition of 34 Advanced Type Light Helicopters (ALH) after the approval of the Cabinet Committee on National Security (CCS). Defense Ministry will purchase 693 Infantry Combat Vehicles from AVNL

The Defense Ministry on March 13, 2024 signed a contract with Armored Vehicles Corporation of India Limited (AVNL) for procurement of 693 armament upgrades of Infantry Combat Vehicle BMP2 to BMP2M. This upgrade includes Night Enablement with Automatic Target Tracker, Gunner Main Sight, Commander Panoramic Sight and Fire Control System (FCS) under the procurement (Indian-indigenously designed, developed and manufactured) category.
