Indian Navy-Narcotics Control Bureau makes drug bust off Gujarat coast

A joint effort of the Indian Navy and the Narcotics Control Bureau on Tuesday seized about 3,300 kg of drugs from a ship off Porbandar in Gujarat, the largest drug bust in recent history. The operation culminated with the seizure of a small vessel, leading to the recovery of over 3,089 kg of hashish, 158 kg of methamphetamine and 25 kg of morphine. SJVN Ltd has commissioned its 100 MW Raghnesda solar power station located in Gujarat's Banaskatha district, making it the second green power unit of the state-owned company to be commissioned this month.
