The Centre has approved a ₹132.51-crore project to strengthen road connectivity at Deendayal Port in Gujarat, in a move aimed at easing congestion and improving cargo movement at one of the country’s busiest ports. Indian Railways has recorded its highest-ever passenger traffic and freight movement in the financial year 2025–26, reflecting strong growth in both mobility demand and logistics operations.
