Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Air Force (IAF) successfully conducted the maiden flight-trial of Tactical Advanced Range Augmentation (TARA) weapon off the coast of Odisha on May 07, 2026. Astronomers have uncovered new evidence showing that massive stars play a decisive role in regulating the birth of new stars inside a nearby molecular cloud, shedding light on one of the most complex processes in the universe. Steel Cutting’ Ceremony of 5th and the last of the five Fleet Support Ships (FSS) was held at Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), Visakhapatnam on 08 May 2026, in presence of VAdm Sanjay Sadhu, Controller of Warship Production & Acquisition as the Chief Guest.
