Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal on Friday inaugurated India’s first port-based green hydrogen pilot project at V.O. Chidambaranar (VOC) Port, marking a milestone in the nation’s maritime decarbonisation drive. In a significant step towards strengthening India’s healthcare innovation ecosystem, the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pfizer Limited.   The collaboration aims to accelerate the lab-to-market journey of innovative healthcare products by extending both financial and non-financial support to startups. The Union Cabinet has approved an incentive scheme worth ₹1,500 crore aimed at promoting the recycling of critical minerals in the country.
