Surgeon Vice Adm Anupam Kapur today assumed the charge of Director General Hospital Services (Armed Forces) at the office of the Director General Armed Forces Medical Services. The Flag Officer was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 27 June 1987. Neeraj Chopra won a historic silver medal at the Paris Olympics

  On Thursday, Neeraj Chopra once again etched his name in the history books, becoming the second Indian male athlete to win two Olympic medals. Participating in the final of the men’s javelin throw event, Neeraj won the silver medal with an impressive throw of 89.45m. The event saw tough competition, especially with Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem winning the gold. ICG rescues burnt fisherman off Andhra Pradesh coast

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) rescued a 21-year-old Indian fisherman with second-degree burns on the left side of his body on the midnight of 07 August 2024. The incident occurred on board the Indian Fishing Boat (IFB) Sengalamman, about 183 km off Kakinada coast (Andhra Pradesh).
